The Enemy in the Gate
Sept 16, 2001
By Pastor Thomas Robb
“Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my holy
mountain.” Joel 2:1
Every event has a beginning. Our nation is in distress.
All Americans were shocked by the attack on the twin towers
of the World Trade Center. There was not a person upon the
streets who displayed any emotion except total shock and amazement. Newscasters
stood in disbelief, as did we all, as we watched the collapse of the towers
knowing that there were people who would be buried beneath the rubble. Their
cries for help would go unanswered. Even God did not reach down from heaven to
save their lives. It was almost as if God himself had passed judgment upon our
nation.
America’s response
Those who were at the site of the destruction responded to
this horror through every means humanly possible - offering whatever help they
could. Those who lived away from the carnage looked for someone to blame and a
means to get even. Who could have done such evil was the question on everybody’s
lips
This is truly God’s nation and we are truly God’s people.
At the time of distress our nation calls upon God.
Every nation calls upon God.
We call upon the God of the Bible.
Find who is responsible
Was it Iraq? Was Hussein getting even for the massive bombing
and killing of innocent people in Iraq? Could it be an organized citizenry of
Yugoslavia who were getting even for the bombing destruction of their country by
the United States government in which so many innocent people were killed.
Some have suggested that it actually could have been Israeli
terrorists who engineered this as a means to engage the United States in a war
against the Arab nations. This actually occurred on June 8, 1967 when Israeli
bombers missile attacked the US Liberty and killed and injured over 200 American
seamen. The ship did not sink and survivors were able to easily identify the
attack as being orchestrated by the Israelis. The Israeli government quickly
apologized and all was forgiven.
However, the seamen who were killed remained dead!
Of course, the most likely suspect would be some Arabs. Why?
because the Zionist controlled congress and senate (and thus the U.S.
Government) has a 50 years anti-Arab foreign policy. This was recognized by the
late Senator William Fulbright who was chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations
Committee. In 1973 while appearing on CBS’s Face the Nation Fulbright
stated the reason the Israeli government is unwilling to return illegally
occupied land stolen from the Arabs is because United States will not apply
pressure to the Israelis. He said United States must bear much of the blame for
Israel’s belligerence against the Arabs. Here is his exact quote, “The
administration was unable to apply pressure on Israel for a Middle Eastern
settlement because the United States is subservient to Israel” He
said we have the power to apply pressure if we wanted to because “we supply
all the wherewithal - or a major part of the wherewithal - to finance or to pay
for everything Israel does.” But he said this pressure could not be
applied because “The Senate (of the United States) is subservient,
in my opinion, much too much. We should be more concerned about the United
States’ interest, rather than doing the bidding of Israel. . . It is quite
obvious that without the all-out support by the United States in money and
weapons, the Israelis couldn’t do what they are doing” This is when
Fulbright hit home, “The great majority of the Senate of the United States
- somewhere around 80 per cent - are completely in support of Israel, anything
Israel wants, Israel gets. This has been demonstrated time and time again . . .”
Even today, over 30 years since Fulbright made these remarks and over 50
years since the establishment of the Israeli government, the United States is
still subservient to Israel. Secretary of State Colin Powell - himself
part Jew - spoke to the national convention of the American-Israel Political
Affairs Committee (AIPAC) on March 19, 2001 and stated, "We have
stood with Israel since the day of its founding. We have stood with Israel
throughout its history. We have demonstrated again and again that our roots are
intertwined . . . So let there be no question about our commitment to Israel,
let there be no question that America will stand by Israel today, and let there
be no question that America will stand by Israel in the future."
Now consider, we have a 50 year commitment to the Jewish
nation of Israel and during those 50 years we have gone on record many, many
times stating we will support Israel - completely. Do we think the Arabs are
going to like us. Do you really think that we are going to be objective in our
so-called negotiations between the Palestinians and Jewish officials. And are we
really foolish enough to think the Palestinians and the Arab people will trust
us.
Gen 12:2 But God will only bless us if we stand in support
of Israel. For example Hal Lindsey, who has authored many books including Apocalypse
Code and The Late Great Planet Earth and who describes himself as a
Christian Zionist stated
“The U.S. has stood behind the Jews and the nation of
Israel in their times of need. Both here and in the Middle East, we have fought
persecution of the Jewish people and their nation, many times when no one else
would help.
God said to Abraham, the father of all Jews: 'I'll bless
those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you.' This promise was
extended to protect all the descendants (sic) of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
(Genesis 12:3 and 27:29). I believe that if the U.S. ever turns its back on
Israel, we will no longer exist as a nation. Don't take this lightly.”
"Because in the Bible it says that those who bless Israel, God will
bless. And those who curse Israel will be accursed by God."
-Jerry Falwell,
prominent American TV evangelist.
"There is regard and concern among fundamentalists for the Arabs,
but it pales into insignificance compared to [our] feelings toward Jews.”
-Pat Robertson - 700 Club
"I believe if we fail to protect Israel, we will cease to be
important to God." -Jerry Falwell.
"The Jewish people in America and Israel and all over the world have
no dearer friend than Jerry Falwell." -Jerry Falwell.
"Thus it was the impact of Christian Zionism on Western statesmen
that helped modern Jewish Zionism achieve the rebirth of Israel.”
-Israeli UN Ambassador Benjamin Netanyahu,
and ex-Israeli Prime Minister.
"God has raised up America in these last days for the cause of world
evangelism and for the protection of his people, the Jews. I don't think America
has any other right or reason for existence other than those two purposes."
-Jerry Falwell.
“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not
into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God Speed is
partaker of his evil deeds.” II John vs 10-11
It is becoming too far into the distant pass for most
Americans to remember, but the Arab nations for years had been trusted and loyal
friends of the United States. But because of Zionist influence in America which
began in the early 1900’s we supported the idea of a Jewish homeland, even at
the expense of that land having to be stolen from the Palestinians. This is
exactly what occurred in 1948. At that time one of the most sought after
terrorists in the world was Manachem Begin (later Prime Minister of Israel). He
was responsible for the deaths of 20,000 civilians and 60,000 serious injuries.
One example - on July 12, two British soldiers Sgt Clifford
Martin and Sgt Mervyn Paice were kidnapped and hung from a eucalyptus tree at
Nathanya. The bodies were booby trapped with explosives and when other attempted
to cut down the bodies they exploded The British government, which ruled
Palestine, placed a reward for his capture. Through much terror, suffering and
death the British pulled out of Palestine and left the Palestine people
defenseless against aggressive Jewish terrorists who had immigrated from eastern
Europe and had previously been the occupants of Khazaria. These Khazar Jews
(having no relationship to the ancient Israelites) flooded into Palestine. With
the establishment of the Jewish nation of Israeli on May 14, 1948. President
Truman immediately recognized their sovereignty and committed America to its
defense. When this occurred the Arabs felt betrayed by its former friend. They
still feel betrayed!
No wonder the Arabs think of the United States as the “great
Satan.”
Who blew up the World Trade Center - it most likely was an
Arab terrorist. And from the reports we hear it appears that it was Osama bin
Ladin, the son of a multimillionaire Saudi who died in 1968 and left millions to
Osama.
We want to retaliate against him. But it may be that it is he
who is retaliating against us for 50 years of terror we have enabled the Israeli
government to commit against the Palestinian people.
By pointing this out, does it mean that I love the Arabs - No
- it just means if we are to understand what happened on September 11th in New
York and at the Pentagon, we have to understand what has been happening for the
last 50 years. The nightmare of events that unfolded on the morning of September
11th began to take form in 1948 when this government under then President Harry
Truman recognized the counterfeit state of Israel and committed ourselves to its
survival for all time.
Who made it possible - American Zionist, whether they are
Jewish Zionists, Political Zionists (like Fulbright pointed out) or Christian
Zionists like, Lindsey or Falwell or most preachers in our Sunday morning
pulpits.
act of war
I must agree that we experienced not only an act of terror
but also an act of war and as in any war we want to defeat those who lifted the
hand of terror against our people. And there is little doubt that those who
committed this act of war will be identified.
Americans want to retaliate
Many Americans want to retaliate against those who are
responsible. And I certainly feel the same. However, we must also keep in mind
that we are suffering the sin of our own hand. For years the American government
dutifully and honorably followed the sage advice of its founding fathers that
America must stay out of the entangling affairs of foreign governments. However,
with the advent of World War I we abandoned the advice of those giants of early
America and have continually stepped into each and every national conflict we
could
Some Americans are saying we should declare war on bin Laden
or upon Afghanistan or perhaps some other country considered to be supporting
terrorism.
Establish better security
In this war against terrorism, many people have proposed the
need for better security at the airports
Better intelligence
Will these things work
II Chron 7:14
A. We must do what we can
B. It is the responsibility of our government
1 Our government is to
serve us
2 Mexican invasion - The gates remain open - how many of
these terrorists have found easy entry via the Mexican border. And why are we
not equally concerned about the invasion by Mexicans into this country.
(Deut 28:43) “The stranger that is within thee shall
get above thee very high, and thou shall come down very low.”
Why
Because we have turned against God
Deut 11:26 “Behold I set before you this day a blessing
and a curse. A blessing if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God . .
. and a curse if you will not obey”
What is the promise of God
“The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up
against thee to be smitten before thy face; they shall come out against thee
one way and flee before thee seven ways” Deut 28:7
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise up against thee in judgement thous shalt
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.” Isa 54:17
God has a controversy with Israel
-
Amos 3: 1-2 “ Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O
children of Israel, against the whole family of Israel which I brought out
of the land of Egypt. You are the only family, of all the families of the
earth that I have known, therefore I will punish you because of your sins.
Micah 6:1-3
“Hear ye now what the Lord has to say, arise, speak to the mountains
and let the mountains hear thy voice. Hear, ye mountains, and the strong
foundations of the earth, the controversy of the Lord. For the Lord hath a
controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel. Oh my people,
what have I done unto you and where have I done you wrong.”
God put watchmen on the Wall
We have brought sin and a reproach upon our Children, taken God out of
our schools and government. We have brought a curse upon our own people.
Homosexuality, race-mixing,and abortion is encouraged and protected by the
govt. We have made covenants with heathen nations and have weakened our
resolve.
They will not listen to the watchmen Jer. 6:16-17
“Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the
old, where is the good way and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your
souls. But they said we will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you
saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not
hearken.”
Charles Lindberg, Father Caughlin, Gerald L.K. Smith, Elizabeth
Dilling,
Congresswoman Claire Booth Luce, Joseph McCarthy, George Lincoln Rockwell,
Agnes Waters, Congressmen Louis McFaddin, Herman Talmage, Conde McGinly,
Russell McQuire, John Lovell, Henry Ford....
All of the above worked to warn the American people of the Jewish menace
to America.
Latter end....
“They are a nation without counsel, and they have no understanding. Oh,
if they would only be wise, if they would only understand, it they would
only consider what would be come of them” Deut. 32:29
“The stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times, and the turtle
and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my
people know not the judgement of the Lord.” Jer 8:8
When thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the land will
learn righteousness. Isa 26:9
My people will consider it perfectly
“Behold a whirlwind of the Lord is gone in fury even a grievous
whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. The anger
of the Lord shall not return until he have executed and till he have
performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it
perfectly.
I have not sent these false teachers yet they ran: I have not spoken to
them, yet they preached. But if they had stood in my counsel and had caused
my people to hear my words then they should have turned them from their evil
way and the evil of their doing.” Jer 23:19-22
II Chron 7:14 tells us to Pray AND turn from wicked ways and He will heal our
land.
We mourn the loss of countrymen. Let their death be not in vain. We
must take this as a wake up call - warn our brothers and sisters of their need
to repent - and ask for God's deliverance and guidance.
